Dogashima NEW Ginsuiso is a large, resort-style high-grade hot spring ryokan located in Dogashima Onsen on the west coast of the Izu Peninsula. The hotel has views of one of Japan's best scenic spots, which never fails to impress our guests, who can enjoy breathtaking panoramas of Suruga Bay from every room.

Japan has many scenic spots, but the beauty of Dogashima, with its dramatic rugged coastline, is particularly famous. Our large bath is fully equipped with a dry sauna, mist sauna and jet spa, so our guests can enjoy the perfect hot spring bathing experience.

Even within Japan, a country famous for its its hot springs, this region is particularly blessed. It also has abundant fresh sea and mountain produce. Depending on their accommodation plan, guests can enjoy a wide range of cuisine, including abalone and lobster. Enjoy a sumptuous Japanese-style breakfast while gazing at the splendid view from our dining room.

Although the managers of Ginsuiso are Japanese, we also have Chinese staff so we can respond in Chinese if our guests encounter any probems during their stay. Therefore, Chinese travellers can feel at ease staying with us without a tour guide.

[Sake] Japan has a unique sake culture which dates back thousands of years. There are so many ways to enjoy sake, and so many different types to try, such as umeshu ("plum flavored sake") and sakurashu ("cherry blossom flavored sake"). Dogashima New Ginsui has an abundant range of merchandise.

The west coast of Izu Peninsula is renowned for having the most glorious sunsets in Japan.
Here, guests can relax after an exhausting day of travelling while gazing at the sun as it sinks below Suruga Bay. The most gorgeous sunsets are viewed from the hotel between mid-October and early March. While the sun is setting, the hotel provides "sunset wine" in the lobby as a courtesy to guests.
